Re:  My personal experience with acupuncture

At about age 12, I began to suffer debilitating migraine headaches where I would often be bed-ridden for days.  As I got older, the migraines became more frequent and severe and were beginning to dominate my life.

At age 16, (almost 17) I became an international competitor in Archery.  I was offered the chance to compete in different countries.  My mother was afraid to let me leave for these international tournaments for fear that I would be alone in a foreign country with a migraine attack.  We also knew that these migraines, often brought on by intense concentration, could strike in the middle of a competition.

My mother took me for various methods of treatment without success.  Because of her own success with acupuncture, she decided to try acupuncture with Dr. Chau from Belleville, Ontario.

I received approximately 10 treatments of acupuncture.  I went on to win numerous Gold medals as a Canadian Archer, even breaking the Canadian record.    I won the silver medal in the U.S. Nationals and bronze in an international competition in Cuba.  I am now 21 years old.  After the acupuncture treatments, I never got another migraine headache again.  Coincidentally, one of the side benefits of acupuncture was how it improved my ability to focus in a big way.

Thank you Dr. Chau.  (Sorry that it took me so long to write this letter)  J

Sincerely,
