Excruciatingly Painful Back Spasms

Dear Dr Chau,

For all those people who have experienced chronic back pain with bouts of excruciatingly painful back spasms thrown in. THERE NO HOPE !

In the past, I have gone through most of the methods of treatment available for my condition. (physiotherapist, prescribed exercise programs, massage therapist, reflexologist, magnetic belt, chiropractor, anti-inflamatories pain pills , top quality mattress, vibrating seat, back support roll. etc. )

Each helped in each own way, but it felt short of providing relief from debilitating pain. So I continued to look for a way that allowed me to continue an active lifestyle.

With reference from a friend, and with some skepticism, I decided to try acupuncture, and went to see you, Dr Chau.

Your treatments have put my " Meridians into balance " so that in the last six months, I have been able to return to playing tennis and golf without a repeat of my frequent episodes of crippling back spasms.

I subsequently suggested that my wife seek relief from back and knee pain, which she has done, with similar excellent results.
