Special Letter

Belleville, May, 01, 1999

Dear colleagues,

This letter is regarding only one personal experience about Hepatitis C that was solved by Acupuncture.

Hepatitis C is currently a very tough problem in the world. It has caused millions of people ( The total number of people in Canada who have hepatitis C is belived to be between 90,000 and 300,000 ) to live with bad lives and in many cases they died.
There are a lot of researches that aim to find the right way to solve this problem, but the difficulties are still existing...
In the Western Medicine, people have been trying to create medicines to kill Hepatitis C virus. (= anti-viral drugs, such as interferon ). At this time, there is no vaccine to prevent people from getting hepatitis C infection.
In the Eastern Medicine, people also have been trying to use herbs and to combine some acupuncture points to help our system eliminate that outside pathogen factors and make the Qi circulation return to the Yin/Yang balance again.

Two years ago ( 1997), I took a case of Hepatitis C . I studied it carefully and tried to explain the signification, the relation of each sign, each symptom of the problem... based on the Yin/Yang and Five Elements Theory.Combining traditional eastern way of thinking, I hoped that the resolution could be found.

Fortunately, using my acupuncture technique, I was very glad that my work had helped my patient.
Because I live in a small city, I have had not the opportunities to see this type of patient to evaluate the resolution. Therefore, I would like to invite you, my colleagues, to evaluate and/or develop it, if possible.
All details of my technique are described in the Case History

Acupuncture was born in China, but now it is growing in the world because of its terrific efficacies. However, there are many things still hard to explain, difficult to illustrate or to undertand clearly !. With your cooperation, I hope that we would contribute our tiny efforts to the illustration-- in some degree, especially in this hepatitis C case--with the Acupuncture of the world.
Please give me your comments or suggestions and contact me.
Thank you so much,

N.T.CHAU, Dr.Ac.
